If yours is a retina screen, an idea is to test out all the resolutions mentioned in the 'displays' in 'system preferences' where you choose 'scaled', and it would say looks like # x #. I recommend experimenting manually with the ini, until you can navigate to in-game options, then you can test resolution there. But, at least this solution does offer me the chance to just start trying many different resolutions to see if one will finally work for my MacBook. I changed the resolution in that file to 2560x1600 which is my display, but it made the framing go from being cut off on the bottom of the screen to being cut off on the top of the screen. On my mac, I just open an empty safari window or whatever above it, and keep command-tabbing A LOT back and forth the two windows and sometimes this reveal the content concealed under the white mask in the window, then you need to aim your mouse to those fields/buttons and click like normal.
For the GAME LAUNCHER, there are 4 pages to navigate through,ġst is the tiny loading screen you can ignore and wait through it,Ģnd is the log in screen where you should put your credentials in if you haven't before (create account here ),ģrd is to put in game key if first launch,Ĥth is the stats screen where you will hit a big play button at the lower right corner.
